I tried two-way binding the ActiveViewDefinitionIndex property to be able to save the selected value between sessions. But the value is not updated when the view definition is changed. The value in ActiveViewDefinition is correctly updated, so I am assuming that this is a bug, right?

I cannot see code that updates the ActiveViewDefinitionIndex property when ActiveViewDefinition is changed, so I guess this is really a bug.

We didn't decided how to proceed with such bug reports for the pre-beta version, but most probably the internal build next Monday will contain a fix.

I would very much appreciate it if you would release new builds of this component along with the regular internal builds. I will be working with this component a lot during the next couple of weeks. Do you want me to keep reporting bugs here in the forum, or should I use PITS?

Thanks,
/Henrik

We also appreciate your involvment with our beta, so we will do our best to assist you with your work. By the way, I updated your points.

Reporting bugs in the forum is fine, I would not want to fill the PITS with items for the non-official releases.

Hi, I just downloaded the new internal build (2010_3_1326). It was hoping it would include the RadScheduleView dll, but it does not. Will it be published separately here in the forum?

The ScheduleView for Silverlight is built separately from the rest of the controls, that's why it is not in the internal build. I will upload only its assembly in this forum tomorrow. Do you prefer a build referencing SP1 or the latest internal build?

I'm using the Q1 2011 release and the ActiveViewDefinitionIndex binding still does not seem to work.  Was this bug fix included in this build?  If not, is there a known work around for now?

Hi Ken,

You are right that the issue is not fixed in the build you are using. It was fixed in Service Pack 1-- version 2011.1.419 of the binaries. You can upgrade to this version and it should be working fine. If you are still having problems please let us know.

Kind regards,

Hi Boyan,
I am using Telerik.Windows.Controls.ScheduleView.dll (Version:2011.1.419.1040) for Silverlight. But I am still getting that ActiveViewDefinitionIndex is not updated. Please help me on this regard.

Thanks
Khabir

Hi Muhammad,

I was unable to reproduce the problem you are describing with the attached application and Telerik RadControls for Silverlight version 2011.1.419. Am I doing something differently than you? Could you modify and send back the attached application so that it represents your scenario, so that we can use it to observe the problem?
