Hello,

My RadBook is included in an aspx page with RadAjax.net controls, a radToolbar, a radAjaxManager, etc.
And we must click many times to have a page turned.
Corners are not reacting immediatly to the mouse being on them, there is an annoying  delay.
And when a corner is up, clicking on it doesn't always turn the page.

What could be the reason for this ?

Thank you for help.

Hi Christian Surieux,

It is possible that something is overlaying the Silverlight application and the mouse events are not passed directly to the Book component. Are you experiencing the same behavior in our online demos:
http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Book/FirstLook

Can you try it on a blank SL application and let us know how it goes.

Hello Valentin,

I have checked with your on-line demo: it is faster but not as fast as when I browse it from My Vista desktop.
The server where I am testing is a W2K3 with IE8, but its graphic board is an on board Intel.

Pages are also moving without the smooth effect I have on Vista, Step      by       step.

So Silverlight/Book is rserved for enhanced graphic boards...

In the event there is something stolling the mouse control before Silverlight, what could be done to set Silverlight first ?

Hello Christian Surieux,

Thank you for this feedback. We are making some complex layout transformations in RadBook and this is maybe causing the slower rendering.

As for the mouse stolling - you should first identify where the problem comes from. You can try removing other components from the page to see when the page click will be faster and then we can see if there can be done, but we first should identify the problematic component (if such exist ofcourse).

Best wishes,
