Hello. I have a really long detail section containing mostly textboxes and tables, but most of the fields have some visibility rules. However, only like half of the fields are usually visible in a single report. When exported to pdf, every other page is blank (ofc with header and footer) and there are some blank pages in the end as well. Every report creates the same amount of pages. This is probably related to the height of the detail section. I have read many forum threads as well as http://www.telerik.com/support/kb/reporting/details/problem-telerik-reporting-renders-blank-pages but I am still not able to solve this problem. The detail section has "KeepTogether" set to false. Is there any solution to this problem?

If the total height of Detail section is larger than the physical height of the page this might cause the blank pages.
Container items (sections, Panel) cannot shrink when the actual height of inner content is smaller than the container's height you set in the designer.
Also, check KeepTogether properties of other report items/sections and set it to False.

On the side note, the ability to occupy the empty space (CanShrink property) was introduced in our latest R3 2016 Beta 1 release. You can give it a try by downloading it from your Telerik account (Downloads -> Reporting -> Latest beta).
If the issue persists please attach a problematic report in a support ticket so we can check the settings and provide you further suggestions.

Hello. So it is almost solved, however, when there is a shorter report, there is still a blank page in the end. Every single item in the report has KeepTogether set to false. I havent tried the latest realese yet, but is there any other solution to this problem?

Most likely, the blank page appears because the report's height is larger than the physical page. Test to resize / rearrange the items within the sections to see if it can prevent the page break.
Also, check PageBreak property of the sections.
To provide you more accurate suggestions please share the report definition so we can see the exact settings.
