Our company uses Bit9 to control the software installed on our PCs. I have installed Graphite with the help of our IT staff, but a problem arises when a new version of Graphite is available. Because Graphite does not include a digital signature, the automatic update fails and I must then have our IT staff reinstall the software. They told me that the automatic update would work if Graphite was digitally signed. Is it possible you could provide this?

Hello Bob,

Both setup.exe (the installer) and Icenium.Graphite.exe (the actual executable) are digitally signed, so we would appreciate if you provide concrete information what is expected to be done on our end in order to support scenarios like yours.

Looking forward to your reply.

Kind regards,
Steve

OK, I'll try to get our IT team to provide more information. Thanks for the info.

Our IT team showed me that your digital signature does not have a valid timestamp. This is true for the setup.exe and the Icenium.Graphite.exe. Bit9 (and I assume other similar tools) require the signature to have a timestamp. Is this something you can provide going forward?

Thanks Bob for pointing us that we were missing the time-stamping. I have just committed the code that does it and our next updated will have it in place.

Thanks again for your valuable feedback and keep it coming.
