    Hi,

    I want to know if FileExplorer works with Active Directory users, it means my asp.net users impersonate with AD user, Can he/she edit/upload/delete files/folders based on permissions in AD?

    Regards
    Mazdak

    Hi Mazdak,

    RadFileExplorer does not offer the required functionality. However, you can easily implement this by assigning ViewPaths / UploadPaths / DeletePaths properties according to the currently logged used during the Page_Load, e.g.:
    protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
        string loggedUser = Session["LOGGEDUSER"];

        RadFileExplorer1.Configuration.ViewPaths = new string[] {"~\files\\"+loggedUser, "~\images\\"+loggedUser};
        RadFileExplorer1.Configuration.UploadPaths = new string[] {"~\files\\"+loggedUser+"\uploads", "~\images\\"+loggedUser+"\uploads"};
        RadFileExplorer1.Configuration.DeletePaths = new string[] {"~\files\\"+loggedUser, "~\images\\"+loggedUser};
    }
