So I upgraded my project and it broke right out the gate do to the radtitlebar...
So I decided to remove it and readd it thinking maybe it was a link poblem...

Everytime i go to add it to the form all i get is a nice fat:
No such property registered: Image, Telerik.WinControls.UI.RadButtomItem

Ok so I never delete my debug/release folders because I normally have resources in them that
i want and/or dont want to rebuild my entire project. Upgrading is normally very easy with the upgrade tool
and what not but sometimes you fail to forget linkage problems and spend the next hour
trying to figure out why something isn't working.

If you are having a similar problem above and Clean doesn't work shut down your project and delete
your debug/release folders reopen the project and compile it will work fine there after.

I know this is pretty simple stuff but if you are like me the simple stuff gets over looked because I tend
to think of bigger problems :)

Chris, thanks for the post!  I ran into a very similar issue and your suggestion cleaned things right up!  I'm sure it saved me lots of time that I would have otherwise spent trying all sorts of other things.

      Hi,
I'm having this exact problem too, but my installation is a fresh one, not an update.
Anyway, i've done the steps described in the upgrade document and the steps described in this post without sucess.
      Can anyone help?

      Thanks in advance.

    Fred,
I am guessing being in this forum you are talking about the winControls correct?
By fresh install do you mean you have never had Telerik installed before?
Are you getting the error when you try and drag and drop a control onto the form?
Do you have the latest .NET framework installed?

Can you take a screenshot and post the steps to reproduce?

The orginal post on this we related to references not from a fresh install, although I have
seen something similar with a fresh install but that was because of .NET versioning...

    Hi Christopher,
Thanks for the reply. Now to answer your questions:

"I am guessing being in this forum you are talking about the winControls correct?"
     yes.

"By fresh install do you mean you have never had Telerik installed before? "
Not the winforms controls, but i have installed the ajax and silverlight trial before this.

"Are you getting the error when you try and drag and drop a control onto the form?"
yes. All the controls except RadButton

"Do you have the latest .NET framework installed?"
    yes

I don't know how to post a screenshot in the forums, but the the error is the same you posted before. The steps are simple too, since it is a test project, only the default form and when i try to drop a control it causes the error.

As an aditional info, the test project that came in the installation is presenting many errors (No such property registered) too.

I can load up a virtual pc tommorow with your config and have a look, i just installed VS2008+SP, and Latest Telerik on a WindowsXP Dell XPS (never had vs or telerik on it) and it work as it should... So I will install a virtual machine on a test box with pt-br and see what happens will get back with you tommorow sometime.
