Hello,
My data plan is Medium, the bandwidth 100 GB.
When it restart or reset this bandwidth ?
Monthly or every year ?
I have seen that the counter of bandwidth continues to grow.

Thank you.

Hello Ignacio,

The numbers for bandwidth and push notification count reset every month. You can see the terms for each of the extension plans are listed over here and these quotas are marked with an asterisk next to their name and the asterisk info is right under the table.

We checked your account for inconsistencies and it appears that the bandwidth is tracked correctly. It is the outbound traffic your apps generate. It appears one of your apps is downloading large amounts of data on one of its content types. You could look into some of these requests and try to optimize them if possible - perhaps introduce some filters or select statements to queries, in order to reduce the outbound traffic (it would also benefit the users of your app when they are using mobile data). This is an overview of the querying options available in our JS SDK (and also entirely through the RESTtful API), so you can get an idea of how things work, if you need it.

If this is not an option or you need more assistance with this matter, you could contact us on a different line so we can discuss the more private details and be more concrete about things.

Hope this clarifies things a bit.

Understood, but I have seen that the day start of billing period (March 29), it follows the counter, doesn't restarts from scratch.

Regards.

Hi Ignacio,

I'm not sure where you are viewing these stats. The best way to get the most accurate and up-to-date stats data is in the details for your Backend Services usage. You can get to this screen by starting from the Subscription Overview page over here and clicking the "more details" link at the bottom of the "Data" section of the "Data plans" list.

On the page which then opens (named "Backend Services usage details"), you can view the total use of Bandwidth across all of your apps at the top, and also a breakdown by app, below that. The "Bandwidth" bar in the totals section should be showing the bandwidth usage for the current billing period. If you think that number is inaccurate, please let us know, so we can investigate further.

Hello,

I attach two images of my subscription overview.
The bandwidth consumption is from the start, not from this month.
100GB is for one year or for one month.

Regards.

Hi Ignacio,

As I tried to explain in the last post, disregard what you see in the screenshot called "data-plan-resume.png" - it is calculated for a different period.

On the other screenshot, you have chosen to view the cumulative bandwidth - meaning values for each day are added to the values of the previous day. This page is the one you should look at, but please focus on the bar for bandwidth at the top - there is one at the very top of the page, which is for all your apps in total, and there is also one for each app, listed below the totals. Please view the attached screenshot for guidance - notice the URL, yours should be similar (just the id should be your account id) to make sure you are in the right place, and the bar circled in red should show your bandwidth usage for the current billing period.

Once again, I want to assure you, the bandwidth and push notifications count quotas are monthly - they reset every month. If you think yours do not reset, we will investigate. But from the screenshot you sent I can see that the bandwidth used from the start of the billing period is about 20GB, which seems in accordance with your consumption.

I understand how the representation of some of these metrics can be confusing and we will consider improving them in the future.
