I installed OpenAccess version 2012.2.607.1. After using the rlinq designer my backspace, enter, and most other keys no longer respond within visual studio 2010 (it seems that only alphanumeric keys work). I never ran into this problem prior to installing OpenAccess. A co-worker installed the entire Telerik suite and is now experiencing the same behavior. Is this a known issue and if so, are there any work arounds? The only way I found was to close VS2010.

Thanks,
Dave

I've had this problem with VS 2010 both before and after installing Telerik controls.  I find that if I navigate to another tab (a different file), and then back the problem goes away.

Hi Dave,

When you closed Visual Studio did you get an error that a modal dialog is blocking the user input and prevents VS from closing? This issue has been reported by another customer but we have not managed to isolate the exact steps to reproduce this behavior yet. It would be very helpful if you remember the actions you performed in VS (with or without the OpenAccess designer), so we could try the same on our side in order to reproduce the problem.

All the best,
Alexander

Yes that is the message I get. When I would make a change in the rlinq file I would get a dialog asking if I wanted to allow access to some script. I would hit yes and the designer would continue processing. There was a check box that said do not show this dialog again. after I checked that box is when it stopped working. My co-worker did the same thing I did and hit that check box to prevent the dialog from coming up.

Hello Dave,

We tried the same steps but we were unable to reproduce the failure so far. We will continue with the investigation of this problem and will let you know when we have more details.
