I'm trying to set the background of a screen that only displays an image. I have tried a few things on the css but it seems I'm not using the correct class to achieve the background change. I want to set the background color to black since the default is white.

It is not clear how your question is related to Kendo UI. Is the image displayed on a web page, which is completely standalone or it is part of a Kendo UI Application? Please provide more information about your scenario.

I resolved it by setting the background color on the main html file and not the subfile. I had an index.htm that was calling another .html with an image and I wanted to set the background color of the empty space to black. The image wasn't taking the entire screen.
