    hi all

As I mentioned on the Sitefinity forum, how about a new provider allowing the ORM L2 Cache  to use the .NET Services Bus in Azure?
This would really make ORM an attractive option for data access in the Azure Cloud as multiple instances could really leveraged to build big scale apps?

    Hello mattc,

Thank you for sharing this with us.
Unfortunately we do not have plans to implement such functionality any time soon.
And I also cannot provide you with a exact time frame for the development of such feature if we add it to our TODO list.

    Regards,

    Hi Jordan
Thanks for your reply. Shame though, it seems you have worked very hard to make ORM Azure capable very quickly which is great. However if the 2nd Level cache doesn't work in Azure there is less benefit in increasing the number of roles running as they can't share cached data.
Maybe one for the future :)

    Hi mattc,

We have some features on our TODO list that when implemented will definitely allow OpenAccess to be used in some very interesting scenarios, including the one that you mention. But again, I cannot give an exact time frame currently.

Do not hesitate to write again if you have more questions or suggestions.
