Hi,

I am trying to automate the process of saving a file from my web page.  I am using IE 11 and when I invoke the save option, I am prompted with a dialog at the bottom of the browser with options to save, save as, or cancel (see attached).

Is there any way to interact with this dialog in Test Studio?  If not, is there a setting in IE to avoid the prompt and just download the file?  I have checked but can not find such a setting.

Thanks,
Steve

Hello Steve,

You should click the Save button and choose a location where the file to be saved. This will record Handle download dialog step in Test Studio which you should be able to replay without any problems.

Please note that your browser should be properly calibrated in order this to work. You can proceed with calibrating the browser as described in this article.
