Has anyone considered using, or have opinions on using Aurelia framework with AppBuilder?

It is a very interesting framework that in my opinion removes a lot of the discomfort for C# developers to finally do a javascript -based project.

What would be helpful is to know if anyone can identify specific reasons (problems etc.) to not use it in an AppBuilder app.

Thanks

Brian

Hi James,

We have not internally experimented with Aurelia yet, and still I see no particular reason for it not to be compatible with Cordova or Telerik Platform in that regard. During all that years, we helped people creating apps with jQuery Mobile, Ionic and other frameworks. There  to be some people experimenting with that combo for a while in various github . There is also a blog post on Running Aurelia on Cordova with some steps listed that can be used as to kickstart your project.

Most importantly Rob Eisenberg himself, answered that question here and it seems Aurelia team is working on support for that use case.

We encourage you to give it a try before you decide on that route, best with a simple proof of concept app.

If it happens that you stumble upon an issue you believe is related to Cordova, Telerik Platform or Telerik Verified Plugins we will be more than glad to help you with that.

Keep us posted. We are looking forward what your first impressions are, so you can share your findings with the .
