I have installed / deployed the RAD Editor Lite to my sharepoint site and enabled it as a feature on a sub-site (I did this as the site collection administrator). The standard toolbar is now replaced with the Telerik version. All good so far!

I have been able to upload and add images to both normal list items and wiki pages (I created a picture library for the list item to populate). Having uploaded an image and added it to a page/list item, I am now trying to create a thumbnail.

Firstly, is the thumbnail just a smaller version of the image, or is it a thumbnail that when clicked pops up the larger version of the image?

Secondly, when I right-click an image and choose "set image properties", the "Create Thumbnail" tab is not available (it's greyed out). Am I doing something wrong?

Help on this feature would be most appreciated - perhaps I have missed the point, but I can't find any detailed help :(

Thanks,
Alex

OK, somehow (by hook or by crook) I found out that I needed to add the line
<property name="AllowThumbGeneration">true</property>
to the ListConfigFile.xml.
The feature does not create a clickable thumbnail, just a smaller version of the image.

What other settings are availble for the config file?? Is there a place where this is documented?

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alex Lee,

You can set all the properties of the RadEditor by using the ConfigFile.xml. Here is the properties API reference of the control http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet/editor/radeditor-telerik.webcontrols.radeditor_properties.html.

Best wishes,
