Will telerik solve the asset picker issue? Currently SP2007 asset picker only works on IE and RadEditor asset picker can't navigate to different sites.

Hello Sean,
The OOB MOSS asset picker does not work on different than IE browsers. When It comes to the Telerik provided dialogs at this point we do no intend to do general changes in our MOSS content provider. What you can try is to create your custom content provider, which will work in your scenario. In the following locations you can find helpful information:
Using the RadFileExplorer for ASP.NET AJAX in a MOSS web application
Editor / Custom File Dialogs Content Provider
Set Properties Via Config File
