I just found out that the long awaited release of the ASP.Net 2.0 version of Stephen Walther's seminal text has been released.

I know that many of the telerik MVPs, myself included, have listed the ASP.Net 1.x editions as being their favorite books on ASP.Net.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who was waiting for this.

I wanted to mention this in case anyone else missed the release.

The inital reviews are all positive. I'll post my thoughts in this thread once I've read the book. My expectations are very high!

Josef,

Great post! I've been waiting for this book since last November when the .NET 2.0 framework was released. I was a big fan of the first version and have high expectations that this new edition will be just as good. I'll be heading to my local B&N or Borders at lunch to see if I can find it on the shelves.

What do you think of it so far?

I think it's an awesome book.

Very well written.

My only gripe is that he doesn't use "code behind" files but that doesn't affect the quality of the demos at all.
