While the skins that are supplied are pretty kewl, the colors are limited. I was wondering if there is a place where users can upload their skins to share with the community. I am not creative and don't want the responsibility for deciding what looks nice together. I'd like any help I can get to make my site look more professional and interesting.

Yes, there is such a place: Telerik Skins`s Sharing Portal. There are fully runnable skins and and psd project, that could easy be turned into a living skins.
A very good option is to use Telerik Style Builder to create for you new custom skins. Just apply your preferred colors, and it will generate for you the custom sprites and CSS just for a few minutes. Once you have it, you could change by hand some CSS colors etc. It is really time consuming and could save you hours. For example, an Editor skin could take you more than a half day, while using the style builder will take you 10 minutes.
