When I tried to apply an included theme (except Office_Black) to a DatePicker or TimePicker, the VS Designer displays an unhandled exception and the app also will not run successfully.  All the other controls work fine applying the same theme.  2010.1 current build.

Am I doing something wrong?

<telerikInput:RadDatePicker telerik:StyleManager.Theme="Summer" />

Thanks,
-Brian

Hello Brian,

Thank you for contacting us.

Please find the attached file in which it is applied a theme to a DatePicker and everything works as expected. Could you please modify it in order to reproduce the issue and send it back to us.

Looking forward to your reply.

All the best,
Konstantina

Thanks for the example, it helped me verify that what I had was correct.

I cut out all of a date picker's parameters and pasted it back to how it was - it automagically worked after that with the same XAML.  I fixed the rest of my date/time pickers this way.  I still think there's something weird going on.

Possibly related:  Every time I click on a date picker in VS Designer (2010RC), the calender opens up and does not go away even if I click on something else to change focus.

Thanks,
-Brian

Hi Brian,

We are glad that the issue is resolved.

We will do our best to improve the design time of the DatePicker for one of our future releases.

If you have any other questions regarding our controls please feel free to ask again.
