After the the report initialization when I call the reportViewer.RefreshReport() my screen resolution and size stays the same, but my application dimension (screen size) changes, causing my application to become smaller.
any idea what is causing this ?

This is not a known issue with Telerik Reporting. If there are custom styles applied to the viewer, test resetting them.
To provide you further suggestions please share more specific details about your application, which viewer is in use, what product version is in use. If possible attach a demo reproducing this behavior in a support ticket.
