Hello
I'm using RadRibbonView in Windows XP, when the Application menu's height exceeds the height of the ribbon, and is drawn above another control, it flickers. I've had the same problem with RadWindow and it was solved with the AllowTransparency Property.
Is there a similar property for the ribbon view?

Hello Dror,

We aren't aware of such issues with the RadRibbonView control and this is why I can't suggest a workaround. Can you give us more information on the issue? We'd really appreciate a screecast demonstrating the behavior of the control on your side. Also it would help if you can send us the definition of the RibbonView control and the window/UserControl that hosts it.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Kind regards,

Hello
I have the same problem described in the following post:
        http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/wpf/window/radwindow-flickers-in-windows-xp.aspx
The only difference is that i'm having it with the Ribbon view. Whenever the application menu is dropped down beyond the limit
of the ribbon, and being drawn on top of my control (in my case - a map which is being refreshed 10 times each second) the part
that is on top of the map is flickering. The solution described in the linked post helped me with the rad window, but there is no similar
    property for the Ribbon view.

Thanks

Hi Dror,

Could you please try to extract the ApplicationButtonStyle property of the RadRibbonView in Blend and set the AllowTransparency property of the Popup inside the ControlTemplate to false and tell me if this works for you?
