Bit of an issue for me, gone through and created a App signing request etc. and have purple-agency as part of the "Application Identifier" but Icenium doesn't like the - in it. I seem to be able to add the - and close and select yes to save, this saves it with the dash, but mist just removes it again if I'm not careful.

Hello Mat-Moo,

Again your feedback proved very valuable for us. You just helped us spot a very obscure corner case that we have to figure out how to handle.

FYI: There are issue with both "-" hyphen and "_" underscore in application identifier:

1. For Android OS "-" hyphen is invalid character for the application package name. So that's why we implemented that validation in first place.

2. On iOS  application identifier must be valid Uniform Type Identifier (UTI) and any illegal character appearing in a UTI string—for example, underscore ("_"), colon (":"), or space (" ")—will cause the string to be rejected as an invalid UTI. Invalid UTI may work when testing on devices, it will generally cause an error when uploaded to the App Store.

We seems we overlooked 2. and allowed "_" underscore, but it is not applicable for App Store as you can see.

Greetings,

I am having a similar issue...If I edit the provisioning file, will this cause the app store not to "upgrade" my application and instead to publish it as a new application? com.company.MyApp-IT

It was published in the past, but I am not sure how they got it up into the AppStore with this dash in the name...
