Build for Android works. Build for iOS as provision works. If I select build -> iOS -> AppBuilder -> Screen sits at loading for 20+ minutes.

The App Builder QR codes for iOS I generated a week ago return "Invocation URL was: icenium://https://" does not load/refresh application.

Tested on two apps, same results.

QR Codes now generate for iOS, however they only work with the QR scanner built into the companion app.

Hello Robert,

Thank you for reporting this issue. We are not aware of any build downtime issues at the time of your initial post.  Judging by your last reply, this behavior has been resolved. Is this correct? Still, we would like to investigate this incident since the build for the AppBuilder companion app should be completed almost immediately and what you have observed is not an expected behavior.

If you are still experiencing some issues in that manner, would you, please, share more details such as:
  • The AppBuilder client you are using.
  • Did you experience other connectivity issues at the time.
  • Was this a single incident?
  • Were you running multiple instances of AppBuilder?
  • Were there details in the log? (For Graphite and VSE, you can check the files stored at %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Logs
  • Did you have Fiddler running at the time? If yes, do you have the logs or did you notice anything unusual in the logs?

Regarding the QR code scanner issue, some QR code scanners do not decode the code correctly and this has been known to cause multiple deployment issues. You can use either the QR code reader in the companion app or try RedLaser, QRReader, QR Reader for iPhone. However, when deploying in the companion app, it would probably be easier to use the built-in QR code scanner.

Using AppBuilder windows client (Graphite - Icenium.Graphite.exe).
No other connectivity problems, as I was still able to build both iOS provisioned and Android.
This has happened before but normally correlated with unannounced updates or Telerik downtime. Normally lasts up to an hour, maybe once a month.
Only one copy of AppBuilder was running.
I attached the log file.
I didn't run fiddler. (Hindsight is 20/20)

The built in scanner has a flaw with auto detection. I can only comment based on observing QA and business using the companion app. The companion app doesn't allow the user any time to adjust the field of vision to control what code it scanned. I would say 1 out 5 times they scan the incorrect code as we distribute the QR codes in a list.

Hi Iva,
How to reproduce my original bug.

1. Load a (large) project
2. Make sure "Starting code analysis" is still shown in the lower left of Graphite.
3. Goto "Run" -> "Build" -> "iOS" -> "AppBuilder" -> "Next"

You will be unable to retrieve a QR code for iOS.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for bringing this detail up. It seems the key to identifying the issue.

We are currently aware of some issues emerging when you attempt to run multiple async operations at once which seems to be the case. We will log this in our bug tracking system for investigation and improving this behavior.

For the time being, please, make sure that you do not run multiple separate operations at once while the Windows client is running another operation in the background. E.g. start a build while code analysis is still loading, attempt to open a file while the client is still synchronizing its modules and loading its data and so on.

Thank you for your understanding!

I have been experiencing this issue as well. I am completely unable to get a QR Code for iOS from the Build tool.
It has not been working for quite a few days now, even through rebooting my computer.

I hope this gets fixed soon :/
