I am using appBuilder and all load, save, synchronize and build operations are taking minutes where they used to take seconds.  Currently the app is unusable.

Same here, it's been getting slower the last few days and is really bad today.  I was about to log a ticket because I thought maybe it was an issue with my project or perhaps a github issue.  just rebooted my machine and afterwards it took a few minutes to open a file in appbuilder while it said it was synchronizing.

Hello,

Just wanted to concur that I am having the same problem as well. :-D
i noticed this around one week now.

its fast till project selection.
when opening a project its takes around 30 secs
then again opening a file it takes 1-5 minutes with message "Synchronizing"
after this it works but not that fast.(could be faster)

It seems the same issue I posted about in the "report a bug" forum. I'm currently unable to use the AppBuilder Windows Client, and I need to complete an urgent work. Could Telerik provide us some informations about the solution?
Thank you.

Hi,

We apologize for all the inconveniences this has caused. Unfortunately, we are still not aware of what could be causing such delays in our client and would like to ask you for Fiddler logs of the whole synchronizing process. Please, if possible send them in separate tickets as it is highly possible for them to contain sensitive information.

Here are the steps for catching the needed information with Fiddler:
  1. Download Fiddler from here and install it.
  2. Run Fiddler and go to Tools -> Fiddler Options.
  3. On the HTTPS page, verify that Capture HTTPS Connects is enabled.
  4. Verify that Decrypt HTTPS traffic is enabled.
  5. Open your project and attempt to reproduce the issue..
  6. In Fiddler, go to File -> Save -> All Sessions, save the archive to disk (a SAZ file).
  7. Send us the saz file.

Thank you for the help in advance.

Regards,
Kaloyan

I get a "SR.net_http_client_execution_error" from AppBuilder when trying to open a project while fiddler is running.
Fiddler options are as you suggested.
Any ideas?

Thank you

Hi guys,

The issue appeared to be related to an expired AppBuilder session. There is more about it on the status page.

The good news is that, we managed to include a permanent fix for it, in the just released AppBuilder 2.4 version. Feel free to check if re-logging after the update is applied fixes the matter on your side.

We apologize for all the inconveniences caused.

Hi Kaloyan,

I can confirm the issue is resolved. I installed the new version on three different PCs on two different networks, all is working as expected.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Pier,

I am glad that everything is fine now.

@Paul
Most probably our release had not been published at the time you ran AppBuilder.
