I have a AppBuilder Professional license, but the AppBuilder windows client still thinks I'm on "AppBuilder Starter Edition (Trial)". I've tried restarting, logging out and back in again etc. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hello Andrew,

Please, find my reply in your bug report thread. Thank you for your understanding.

However, for the sake of other users who might be tackling the same issue, I will repost my reply here.

We have checked the available licenses for your account and we have been able to identify the issue. During the subscription migration related to Telerik Platform and AppBuilder, you have been automatically added as a licensed user for the subscription plan. However, this does not automatically add you as a member to the corresponding Telerik Platform account held by the person who purchased the subscription plan (also known as, the account owner).

For Telerik Platform to be able to identify you as a user who can benefit from the subscription plan associated with an account, you need to be an account member. What you need to do is the following:

1. Contact the person who purchased the account and manages the subscription plan.
2. Have them log in the Telerik Platform in the browser with the credentials for the Telerik account used for the purchase.
3. Ask them to verify that they are logged in the correct account context with the correct subscription. If the subscription plan is not the correct one, have them switch the account.
4. Have them invite you as an account member.

Next, log out of the Windows client and close it.

Then, open the Telerik Platform in the browser and log out, if needed. Re-login. You will be prompted that a new account is available for you. Select the account and choose to set it as the default. This way, next time you log in, you will be automatically signed into the licensed account and you will be able to use all the features associated with the subscription plan for the account.

If you have already worked on one or more projects in your current trial or Starter account, you will need to transfer them manually to the licensed account in order to continue development. You can either export and recreate the projects from archive, or push them to a remote repository and recreate them from the repo.

We apologize if this workflow has caused disruption in your work. Thank you for your understanding! We are working on optimizing and automating this workflow so as to minimize confusion and provide you with more seamless collaboration in the Telerik Platform.
