Hi guys
I was wondering if any of you can suggest some alternatives to AppBuilder.
AppBuilder looks really good, but it freezes every time on my Mac... I tried install the Windows client, but it was worst.

Hi Paulo,
I am sorry for your unpleasant experience using AppBuilder.
In order to investigate your issues further and try to fix them I will need additional details about them as they are not a common case.
Would you elaborate a bit more about your freezes? Do they happen constantly or just at the start? Do they pass after some time?
A short demo would be appreciated.
Do you find any errors in your Output pane?
What is your system configuration?
Are there any logs from our Windows client in %localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\Logs folder?
Please open a private ticket and attach them there.
As an alternative I would suggest trying some of the other clients and tools.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Visit the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace and get the custom Cordova plugin you need, already tweaked to work seamlessly with AppBuilder.

I've been using mostly AppBuilder in browser client. My env is:
Mac OS 10.9.4
Chrome Version 36.0.1985.125
Whenever I try to use the Designer window it freezes. I click in some widget on the left panel and try to drag to the view. At this point it freezes and Chrome crash. Nothing wrong appears on Output window.
Since I was doing it almost every 5 minutes I created a Windows 8 VM and installed AppBuilder client.
Windows client froze a couple times only. But the recurring problem is when I try to drag some widget to the view it doesn't allow me to drop it... So what I'm doing is adding it directly on code.
If I use only Code view, on both clients, everything works ok. The problem is when I try to use the Designer..

Thanks for your details.
As you can see the UI Designer is still in experimental state and some issues might be expected. We are willing to improve the designer experience and any bug report is welcome.
I tried to reproduce your case but of no avail. That is why I would ask you to provide us any particular steps we should follow. Once reproduced the issue will be logged for fixing.
In the meantime I recommend using our Code editor for further development.
