AppManager is a great idea. What's about an API for the account owner to have access to Username, UID,... for verification, comparison in backend?

Hello Wolfgang,
Can you elaborate a bit more on what information you need from AppManager and when do you need to use it? Is it the usernames (note that the usernames are actually the registered email addresses) and ids of the users registered in your AppManager store? How do you need to access them?
It would be best if you describe a sample scenario (use case) that you need to implement.

Hello Tsvetina,
the idea behind is to combine two user authentication scenarios
1. user auth for app disitribution (AppManager) and
2. user auth for internal login.
With other words, I want to reduce a multiple user login using AppManagers Group/User Database for managing the app AND the use of that app as well with one database. API should retrieve fields like groupname, username/email, uid...
Thanks,
Wolfgang

... an DB export function via API (users, groups, apps) could solve my problem.

Hello Wolfgang,
If I understand correctly, you want to be able to have the same login for your users when they use the AppManager mobile app and when they use the apps that you distribute. If this is so, the solution would rather be to use a login provider that we also support (since exporting usernames along with passwords from our DB via public API is not a very safe option).
Currently, we do not offer integration with login providers, but if it gets requested a lot, we can add it to our roadmap. You can add such request in our feedback portal, so others can vote for it, too:

Hello Tvsetina,
the intention is to get certain meta data like user, group, UDID, app (not passwords!) from AppManager. Not for any login process rather to have an administrative structure matchable to AppManager in my backend service (group membership, etc.).
Thanks,
Wolfgang

Hello Wolfgang,
Thank you for the clarification.
Your requirement is indeed doable and we have an item for public API in AppManager in our backlog but it isn't scheduled for a certain time in the future. Furthermore, the specific endpoints for this API are not yet clarified. Therefore, I added a feature request in our portal with your requirement, so that it is taken into consideration when the public API gets into the planning for a release in the future. If others vote for it, its priority will raise and it will be implemented sooner.
Here is a link to the item, so you can follow its status if you want to:
