The turnstile feather is an important part of the Windows Phone UX, but it does not seem to be supported in the RadTransitionControl. Is there any way to achieve that? It is of course available in the Silverlight toolkit, but within the toolkit it can only be used for page transitions, not with a content control.

Hello Juho,

Thanks for writing.

This transition is conceptually meant to be used for page transitions only. We currently do not support it on our Transition Control but you can log your request on our Product Feedback site:

We will track the demand for it and plan accordingly.

Hi Deyan,

Thank you for your response. The reason we require this is that we use ReactiveUI, which forces a single-page app, where everything is contained in a single content control, whose content changes. We have adapted ReactiveUI to use the RadTransitionControl and it works nice, except that we cannot get a turnstile feather transitions.

So from the user's perspective they are page transitions.

Hello Juho,

Thanks for writing back and for the details.

This sounds like an interesting approach and we will consider this as an option.

Anyway, currently I cannot give you an exact promise except that we will track the demand for this feature and eventually implement it.

We will consider this thread closed for now.

Let us know should you have additional questions or need assistance.
