I spent some time searching for a solution that would allow me to access my ASP.NET 2.0 application from a Windows Mobile 5.0 based smart phone - and only found stuff that is 3 years old.

FlowFinity on the other hand, offers a state of the art solution (Blackbird), dedicated to the BlackBerry platform.

Does anyone know of a similar solution for Mobile 5.0 devices?

Thanks in advance

Nik Ivancic,

Have you had any luck with a solution? I recently received an email from Microsoft about the Windows Mobile 5.0 Resource Kit. Maybe this can lead you in the right direction. Here is a link with some more information about it.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/windowsmobile/howto/getstarted/default.aspx

Let me know if this helps. Thanks.

Hi, Jonathon

This seems to be what I was searching for - however, at the time of my post, this solution was not yet available (there was a .NET 1.1 / VS 2003 based version only). So, I went ahead with Blackbird, which, while it works well with VS 2005, is not nearly as useful as the Windows Mobile 5.0 seems to be.

So, I will give this a good try.

Regards

Nik
