Hello;
I was talking to a prospect today about the benefits of Kendo UI and they asked me if Kendo UI has a full sample or links to sites that are using Kendo either in Ajax form or with ASP.Net MVC.

Many Web development tools offer full samples (multi pages) for example a shopping cart with products, listings, orders and  etc to showcase their products.

Thanks!
..Ben

Hello Ben-

Yes, we've heard this request loud and clear. We're actively working on producing more large sample apps, similar to what we've done in some form with TeamThing (http://teamthing.net). Our hope is to have something ready with our Q3 release in November.

We're also working on compiling Kendo UI customer examples, so watch for more of those published results soon. As you know, many Kendo UI customers use our tools for internal projects that are difficult to share, but we're trying to work with select customers to highlight the available public projects that exist. Of course, you can always look at TeamPulse for a great example of real world use (with MVC, no less)!

Hope that helps.

Hi Todd;

Thank you for your prompt response. The links you provided are great help and I'll forward them to these guys. The "team thing" is very nice and very professional.

Yes, I know many Kendo UI projects are used for internal use and commercials apps are not out to market yet.

Just to share some feedback, customers want to see business apps with multiple pages (a typical order entry system or shopping cart). Another question that was raised and you may want to implemnt it in your demo, was how much work will it take to have pages behave in "Ajax" fashion with Kendo MVC rather refreshing or redirecting pages. They said they have used Telerik Web Form Controls and out of the box, the controls provide great Ajax experience. Now they want to move to MVC and Kendo and still be able to offer similar experience to their clients.

So, these were the main points: Database driven Kendo apps with Ajax experience.

Thanks again!
..Ben

Hi,

I have to agree to the previous posts.
I'm coming from JSF/Spring/PrimeFaces/RichFaces and I have to admit, that
there's nothing compared to that in the MS environment.
Your components need definitely more demos, documentation and
sample code especially ajax howtos and best pratices.

If you have any further links or examples I'd be very excited, because
we'll buy your product for a project ........

Regards,
Holger

Hello Holger-

Thanks for adding your vote to this thread. We are actively working on new and expanded demos that should help address this feedback. We hope to have the first round of these demos available with our Q3 2012 release (available in November), and we'll continue to build on things from there.

Stay tuned. In the meantime, if you have any questions or need help demoing any features, let us know! We're happy to help build any demos you need to determine if Kendo UI is right for your project.

Here is the first commercial application that we have built with Kendo UI.

https://www.aligntoday.com

I know it is not sponsored by the kendo team, but if you are looking for examples to point to for a customer, feel free to look around.

Hi Josh;

When I got to your first page, I clicked on "Cancel" and took to a site with product information. Is this site or product done in WebForm or MVC or Web API/Kendo UI?

Thanks!

Web API/Kendo UI

I know it is not MVC, but it all generates the same stuff technically ;)
