Hi,

Is it possible to lightly animate the htmlplaceholder control? I'm using the control to show extra information about something - aka showing meta data. To make this more "blingbling" I am sliding the data into view, and back again when the user clicks on a button.
But the htmlplaceholder control does not move when I'm using the SourceUrl to target another page in the same website.
I'm just asking because when this is not possible then I have to look for an alternative way to display/animate the data.

(I forgot the ? in the title of this topic but I cannot change it? - bommer :( )

Nevermind, I've read in another thread:

The RadHtmlPlaceholder control is essentially an IFRAME element that is positioned above theSilverlight plugin. Thus, besides hiding it by setting its Visibility property to "Collapsed", there is not much we can do to make it render behind any Silverlight element. This is an inherent restriction of the HtmlPlaceholder control and although we are looking for possible resolutions, unfortunately we are still not aware of ways to work around it.

so I guess anything else besides "visiblity" is out of the question :^(

Hi Gompje,

Unfortunately this is true. However, I'd encourage you to experiment and see if a compromise situation can be found. Let us know if you need further assistance.
