AngularJS vs. Kendo MVVM

Hi there,

I'm about to start development on a new Web Application for desktops and mobile devices.  I'm wondering what's the general consensus out there on what MVVM Framework to use these days with Kendo's Controls.  Should I go with AngularJS or Kendo's MVVM?  What are the pros and cons of both of them?  Will they both be equally supported and extended with new features in the foreseeable future?

Hello Deepak,

Kendo UI MVVM and AngularJS are both really similar as functionality, however the AngularJS gives you some more features  and functionality that cannot be achieved with MVVM, like rebinding the widget and changing options runtime. As for support - they will be equally support and we do plan for AngularJS 2.0 support once it is released.

Could you please point me to some examples of rebinding widgets and changing the options at runtime with Angular?  Also, are there any plans to include these features with Kendo's MVVM?

We do not have plans to include this features in the MVVM. As for example, here is some documentation:
