We are using ComponentOne for our Rich Text needs and have recently upgraded to Studio for Silverlight version 4.0. Since upgrading, we can no longer record alpha numeric keystrokes even though the Diagnose Recorder shows it being captured. No steps are created for any Rich Text field. Keystrokes are being recorded for non-richtext fields

    snipped from Diagnostic recording:

Trace:[4:19 PM] - Keydown received from Silverlight app]
    [Trace:S IS a character key]
    [Trace:[4:19 PM] - IERecordingSurface KeyPress 's']
[Trace:[4:19 PM] - Using text recording buffer]
[Trace:[4:19 PM] - Recording into same element]
[Trace:[4:19 PM] - Adding character to text recording buffer]
[Trace:[4:19 PM] - Keyup received from Silverlight app]

    Hello Rob,
I've managed to confirm the issue. I've logged it under:
Bug 10319: WebUI can't record text input into ComponentOne's Silverlight RichTextBox

We'll look into it but we can't guarantee we'll be able to provide you with a working solution quickly. Telerik also provides Silverlight Controls. While we guarantee 100% flawless integration with Telerik's controls - we cannot promise the same for ComponentOne's. As you can see WebUI Test Studio works correctly with Telerik's RichTextBox:
    http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#RichTextBox/MSWord

Maybe you can come up with some sort of workaround based on Pasting (recording CTRL+V) until our engineers look into it?

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help you!

    Best wishes,
    Stoich
