I upgraded to the latest release last week. I just noticed that I now have two sets of RAD ASP.NET AJAX Q3 2009 controls in my VS2008 projects, one for  NET20 and one for NET35.

Since the site is targeting 3.5, I don't know how I get the NET20 included, or even if this is a potential problem, or not.

What is the recommended action to take?

I considered deleting them from the Toolbox, but again, I don't know if this will fix the problem or cause more damage.

Attachment shows the Toolbox view.

I used to delete it but now I tend to just move it down the list and always have it collapsed :)

Hello Tom,

As a project targeting .NET 3.5 can utilize .NET 2.0 controls with no problems, the Visual Studio ToolBox shows both the .NET 2.0 and .NET 3.5 items.

If you think you do not need the .NET 2.0 items, feel free to remove them. If you end up needing some RadControls items you have previously removed, resetting the VisualStudio ToolBox will re-add them for you.

Please note that removing the .NET 2.0 items will result in you not having any RadControls toolbox items in sites targeting .NET 2.0.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
