Hi,

for our Software we need the possibility to select a range of dates and single days within the RadCalendar control. We tested the default behavior of the control and also the Extended and Multiple selection modes, but what we would need is a mode, where additional selections are possible without pressing the CTRL-key.

How can we modify the RadCalendar control so that users do not have to press the CTRL-key anymore? We do not need the feature of selecting a single day and automatically deselecting all others, also we do not just select ranges but a mix of date ranges and single days. Basically I could summarize it with the selection mode of the RadCalendar with permanent CTRL-key pressed. Is there any built-in feature or do we have to code it? And if we'd have to code it, could you give us any hint or even a solution please?

Hello Sylvia,

I'm afraid that the needed approach cannot be achieved with RadCalendar, you should choose between Multiple and Extended SelectionModes - both of them fulfill your requirement to some extent: in Multiple SelectionMode you can select single days without pressing Ctrl key but you cannot select a range with Shift key, while in Extended SelectionMode you're able to select a range, but you should press Ctrl/Shift keys.

Kind regards,
