You can absolutely redesign our controls to better fit your overall application look and feel. In order to do so, you can create implicit styles that are based on our default styles or simply take the default style of any RadControl and modify it accordingly to your needs.

describing how to colorize the Windows8
theme - this way you can use the default Windows8 RadControls ControlTemplates
and only change the color palette used to colorize the theme.
