Beside data binding, is there any way to create a task programmatically with code?

Hello Andy,

You could populate the DataSource and the DependenciesDataSource in the code-behind without binding the Gantt control. For further details on the implementation, I would suggest you to review the RadGantt sample included in the following forum post.
