In this html (img1), I am trying to re-size the content area of the tabstrip. But on the activate event of the tab strip, the event handler is executed earlier than it is supposed to. So I have to use the setTimeout function to get my page to work properly. I want to make this work without the setTimeout.
If anyone has come across this issue or is willing to help find a solution, it would be great help.

Hi,
which Kendo UI version do you use? In the current one, the activate event should be triggered after the animation is complete.

I downloaded the trial version from last week. So it is probably Q1 2014.

Hello,
in that case, we will need to examine the setup in order to help you further. Please recreate it in a dojo sample and send it to us. Thank you in advance.

In the dojo, it seems to be running without any trouble. I am using IE9. Can the issue be with the browser then?

Hi,
if the example runs as expected in the dojo in IE9, then the issue is not related to the browser. I may suggest that you compare the functional version in the dojo with your project implementation.
