Hello,

I want to give Telerik Analytics a try with our ActionScript-based desktop and mobile apps. It seems like there is no monitoring solution available for this platform.

If there are no plans in supporting ActionScript, is there any documentation available for the used api (http://monitor-eqatec.com/json.ashx)? Then we could write a monitor ourselves.

Thanks!

Hi Jorn

I'm afraid we have no plans to support ActionScript. A quick search tells me that you are able to call js from ActionScript. I know this is not the optimal solution, but i think you pretty quickly could create a wrapper that wraps the essentials from the js monitor.

Hello,

Calling JS from ActionScript is only possible if the app is run from inside a browser. We use Adobe Air to create stand-alone (desktop and mobile) apps. Therefor a native ActionScript monitor is required.

If i could get extensive information about the used JSON API (http://monitor-eqatec.com/json.ashx) i can write a monitor myself.

Hi Jorn

Thanks for the great offer. This is not simply writing a new monitor but also quite a lot of work on the backend, creating support for the new project type and integrating into our test suite. At this time we cannot commit to such a task.

Since you could build air apps using js i assumed that you could use 3rd party libs as well.

I have never coded ActionScript so i wouldn't know for sure.
