Access Phone Contacts

I didn't know where to put this post.  Yesterday I found code for Kendo to access the phone's contact list.  The post didn't say how to import it into a project.  Is there an easy way to access the phone's contact list?  All I need to do is to read the name, email address and number.

In Android the contacts can be accessed through ContentResolver.
