I know that the TreeListView control is only in CTP, but we would still like to use it in our development. Our next product release is not until may, so I am assuming that the control will at least be in beta at that point. My question is: Can we expect any bug fixes for TreeListView to be released in the internal builds? I just discovered a bug when using the combination TreeListView/ContextMenu/RadWindow, and it is sort of blocking my development.

Oops. I just realised that the "bug" was my own stupid mistake. So there is no bug and currently no problem. But I would still appreciate some info on what level of support we can expect from Telerik if/when we run into bugs when using CTP components.
    Thanks. /Henrik

    Hello Henrik,

Yes - we do bugfixes on CTP controls. The situation with TreeList is a bit different, because based on the feedback we've got it turned out that it will be better if we base this control on the RadGridView. this will allow us to use the grouping, filtering, horizontal virtualization, etc.

This control will be public in Q2.2010. There will be many breaking changes to the existing CTP version and it is not good to base your plans on it. Any feedback meawhile is welcomed. You can see the same info on our roadmap page:

Ok. I have to admit it sounds logical to build TreeListView on top of GridView. So, until the Q2 release, would you recommend that I use RadGridView instead of the current version of TreeListView? If so, could you possibly point me to an example of how to make GridView behave as close to TreeListView as possible?
