We have a need for a control to show a fix TimeLine and then Events on the Line itself. Also allow user to drag/drop the events on the line.
An example of how this should look is attached. Its not exactly range slider because we don't care about the time range between different events. We just need to visually show this line and show movable shapes on top of the line.
Infragistics has similar control that does not work with VS 2013 - so checking if Telerik has similar control or not.

I am not quite sure I understand your scenario completely. That is why, in case the information below does not help you, please provide detailed information on the result you are trying to implement.
We have a RadTimeline control that visualizes events on a timeline. You can review our online demos and documentation in order to get familiar with the control itself. RadTimeline does not support drag-and-drop out of the box, but you could integrate it with our DragAndDropManager.
We also have a RadSlider control - here are links to its demos and documentation.
Another control that you can review is our RadGanttView - demos and documentation.
Please note that I provided links to our Silverlight demos, but the demos and the code of the demos is the same for both Silverlight and WPF. You can find our WPF demos here.
