I just completed my first install of the RadEditor 1.1 for my WSS v3 site.  Im able to access the editor "web part" without issue, however the following buttons arent working.  I've included the  IE error reported when it is clicked as well.

MOSS Link manager:
Line: 105
Char: 2
Error: 'AssetPickerConfig' is undefined

MOSS Template Manager:
Line: 203
Char: 9
Error: Object expected

Other than these two, it works great!  Anyone have any thoughts as to why these are having issues?

Thanks!

Hi Tim,

WSS has some limitations, which need to be taken into account when installing the RadEditor for MOSS. The default rich text editor does not support Reusable Content and selecting images/hyperlinks, because these feature require the MOSS asset picker dialog. Therefore you will have to use the RadEditor built-in tools ImageManager, HyperlinkManager, TemplateManager instead of the MOSS specific MOSSImageManager, MOSSHyperlinkManager, and MOSSTemplateManager. If you try to use the MOSS specific tools in a WSS v3 webpart or list, you will get a client-side exception , because the editor is not able to load the asset picker dialog. You can disable the MOSS specific tools by modifying RadEditor's tools file (ToolsFile.xml). See the  Removing tools from the toolbar  article in the editor documentation for more details.

All the best,

Same problem, I have removed the MOSSHyperlinkManager, no problem.
I tried replacing it with the builtin tools HyperlinkManager, as stated above, but this does not work.
The question is:
Is it possible with WSS to have a Insert Link functionality (is it possible for example to replace it with the IE CreateLink command or a should I configure the editor to use the builtin HyperlinkManager) ?

Sorry, found out.
Just have to use the tool LinkManager (and not HyperlinkManager as stated).

Good job, thank you.
