Hi,

I would like to know what happens or what are the restrictions if a trial period expires for UI for ASP.NET AJAX?

I am planning to download and try the free trial for my in-house project and demonstrate it with my management. However I do not have the whole 30 days to develop my business case.

What will happen to my project? Will the controls still work if the 30 day period lapsed?

Hi,

The Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX controls will be fully functional even when the 30 days period lapses. The only limitation during and after the trial is the trial message that is randomly shown after refreshing the page.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Is the response to this question still relevant. I have a project which will take longer than the 30 days to work on so can you confirm that the watermarked funtionality is still the case please.

Thanks,

Andy

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your good question!

The trial version of the Telerik.Web.UI.dll will continue to work even after the trial period is over.

When the trial period gets over after the 30 days evaluation, the Telerik AJAX controls will continue to be fully functional. They will throw random trial errors in the browser, which will disappear after a page refresh. These errors will go away after replacing the trial Telerik.Web.UI.dll with the licensed (paid) one once you get a license.

Best Regards,
Rumen
