As long as you use ASP.NET 2.0 Ajax extension 1.0 you should be fine for using the RadGrid. As for exportation I believe that it depends on if you have 2007 installed on the same environment as your application. If you have Excel 2007 installed you should be able to export to a 2007 format.

In response to Schlurk, even if they don't have Excel installed, they could easily export to CSV which is "close enough" for most people.

The CSV remark is very true! I just wanted to make sure the prerequisite for exporting to Excel 2007 was know so no confusion occurs when attempting to export :)

    Hello,

You can export to both ExcelML and HTML Excel even if you don't have Microsoft Excel installed on your machine - RadGrid's exporting engine doesn't depend on COM interoperability so this shouldn't be a problem.

    Best regards,
