I'm trying to release a new app and I'm getting the following error from Google Play:
You uploaded an APK that was signed in debug mode. You need to sign your APK in release mode.
I'm using VS 2013 with the plugin. The certificate has been used before, so I don't think it's an issue with that. Any ideas?

Hello Matt,
Unfortunately this is a bug in the Icenium extension for Visual Studio and it would be fixed for the upcoming release next week. For the time being, you would have to import your project into Graphite or Mist and use its publish capability.
