Telerik fdeck continues to deliver superior experience and unique features to Facebook users
Waltham, MA – March 30, 2011 – Telerik a provider of end-to-end solutions for the software development lifecycle, today announced updates to fdeck, its Silverlight Client for Facebook formerly known as “f!acedeck”. Updates included in this release are the ability to disable “chat” and move to compact view. Telerik fdeck, first delivered by Microsoft and officially released by Telerik in December 2010, is a free tool that delivers superior user experience to Facebook users.
As a Silverlight-based client application for Facebook, Telerik fdeck demonstrates how the Silverlight platform contributes to enhancing user experience and performance. With this new release users have the ability to disable the chat by going offline while they are still in their fdeck accounts, providing more control over their experience. Additional unique features of the tool include file uploading with a simple drag-and-drop operation; instant access to web camera enabling faster and easier video sharing; and personalization of the users’ fdeck experience through “choose a view”, “standard Facebook view”, or “grid-like”.

Telerik fdeck is immediately available here and works on both Windows and Mac OS operating systems with the Microsoft Silverlight 4 plugin installed.
