• VS2008 Multi – Targeting Support
Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, WinForms and Telerik Reporting can be used for developing applications against both .NET Framework 3.5 and .NET Framework 2.0.
• ASP.NET AJAX and JavaScript Support
With ASP.NET 3.5, a separate download for ASP.NET AJAX is no longer required - it is a core part of the .NET framework. VS 2008 and Visual Web Developer 2008 have also added great support for integrating JavaScript and Ajax into your applications. Telerik’s RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX are built directly on the ASP.NET AJAX framework, leveraging it completely for unprecedented performance and interactivity, and they seamlessly integrate with the new Ajax and JS improvements in Microsoft’s developer tools.
• VS 2008 Web Designer and CSS support
RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX will now provide better design-time experience for developers in the new Visual Studio design surface. You will be able to immediately see changes to both control settings and applied CSS classes with a WYSIWYG preview.
• LinqDataSource Support
Visual Studio 2008 includes a new O/RM tool built on LINQ called LinqToSql. This tool allows developers to visually map their database tables to .NET classes and then use LINQ to declaratively query the data. The new LinqDataSource control builds on this model by making it easy to declaratively bind data controls to LinqToSql data contexts. All of Telerik’s data driven controls offer full support for this new data source control and work seamlessly with LINQ.
