.NET developer tools and solutions leader opens two new offices;
jumpstarts the Australian developer community with seminar series
Waltham, MA., March 14, 2011 – Telerik, a provider of end-to-end solutions for the software development lifecycle, today announced the opening of new offices in London, United Kingdom and Sydney, Australia. The new offices position Telerik in close proximity to its growing customer base, enabling local support and service expertise for its product portfolio and a more proactive promotion of the local developer community.
“The UK and Australian markets are growing rapidly,” said Svetozar Georgiev, CEO of Telerik. “Proximity to our customers means efficient, responsive support to their ever-changing needs, to our partners it means better collaboration and services, and to the developer community it encourages innovation. The new offices help put all of these critical elements into place and position us for great success in these markets.”
The new offices will be run by Telerik’s Country Managers, in London by Dimo Iliev and Alan Cotterell, and in Sydney by Vesselin Vasilev. The managers will head up marketing, sales and developer community expansion along with partnership development and the hiring of local, in-house experts to join the Telerik technical team.
“The UK has always been a priority market for Telerik and establishing a presence in London means our customers will have a direct channel of communication with us,” said Dimo Iliev, UK Country Manager, Telerik. “Our software development components are already popular in UK market, and with this move we will support the increasing interest in our entire developer tools portfolio – particularly within the Agile project management and testing suites.”
“With the recent release of our Sitefinity 4 content management system (CMS), we believe Telerik is uniquely positioned in the CMS marketplace,” said Alan Cotterell, UK Country Manager, Telerik. “We’re looking forward to leveraging Telerik’s proven expertise in software development solutions to bring to marketers and content creators the same productivity gains we’ve always brought to developers.”
“The Australian market is expressing great interest in our latest software developer productivity solutions, data conversion tools, automated Web Testing tools, and CMS offerings, said Vesselin Vasilev, Australian Country Manager, Telerik. “Our goal is to answer these markets’ needs by broadening our presence, our community and our technical team in this dynamic region.”
In conjunction with its physical expansion in Sydney, on March 15, Telerik is running a series of seminars for invited developers and testers that are designed to jumpstart the Australian developer community and help them achieve better efficiency right away.
