Official debut, expansion of speakers bureau initiative brings world-class technology speakers and experts to user groups and regional events of all sizes
Waltham, MA, April 4, 2011 – Telerik, an end-to-end provider of software application lifecycle and content management solutions, today announced the official launch of the “Telerik Insiders Program”, its global speakers bureau initiative. A self-titled, elite group of independent technologists and software development leaders, the Telerik Insiders Program emphasizes the company’s support of the developer community by bringing world-class speakers to user groups, educational associations, and regional events, regardless of membership size or attendance. The program is also being broadened substantially to now include a greater number of organizations around the world.
“Telerik’s market leadership comes not only from our best-in-class technologies but from our global developer community – when our users succeed, we succeed. The Telerik Insiders Program delivers added value by providing entrée to influential speakers willing to share their .NET knowledge, insight, and expertise,” said Svetozar Georgiev, CEO of Telerik. “This program allows us to provide needed grassroots-level support and truly give back to a community that has been steadfast and generous in its support of Telerik.”
Initially launched as a pilot program in the U.S. in January 2010, the Telerik Insiders Program has achieved swift, robust success based on the strength of its speakers and the flexibility of the program’s structure. Based on its positive reception by the development community, the program is now being extended to Europe and Australia, with plans for further global growth. Under the program, coordinators work extensively with user groups, code camps, and other community-driven events to identify, match, and make all necessary arrangements for members from its select roster of .NET software development leaders and trendsetters to appear. The Telerik Insiders Program also serves as a complement to speakers bureaus operated by other organizations, such as the International .NET Association (INETA).
“I cannot express enough how much of a benefactor Telerik has been to our community throughout the last several years. They support user groups and community events by providing much-needed resources and help, but also go that extra step by providing top-notch, quality speakers who are passionate about training and knowledge-sharing,” says Pensacola User Group leader, Karla Landrum. “It is an absolute pleasure to be working with the Telerik Insiders Program speakers and their community department. Telerik is truly a vital contributor whose work enriches our overall community.”
“User groups and regional events are really the heart of the developer community – they provide unique opportunities for peer-to-peer engagement, and facilitate sharing of real-world development best practices,” said Emily Parker, Community Program Manager at Telerik. “Our goal is to support and elevate this key element of the software development ecosystem. We look forward to working with user groups and other organizations as the Telerik Insiders Program continues to grow and expand.”
