Telerik Delivers Foundation for Innovative ServusXchange MyOnlineToolbox Platform

Integrated technology suite plays critical role in delivery of award-winning Internet-based B-to-B and B-to-C application

WALTHAM, MA, JUNE 29, 2010 - Telerik, the leading vendor of development tools and user interface components for Microsoft’s .NET platform, today announced its RadControls, Telerik Reporting, and Sitefinity CMS content management system are powering MyOnlineToolbox™, an innovative platform developed by ServusXchange, LLC, for contractors in the home repair and remodeling industry. The award-winning Internet-based application connects contractors with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors quickly and easily through a collaborative application, while streamlining back-end paperwork and enabling better lead management.

“Our team’s vision was to find a way for contractors to faster and more easily engage with their customers, as well as employees, vendors, and subcontractors, while still efficiently and cost-effectively managing day-to-day back-end operations,” said Brian Javeline, President and CEO, ServusXchange. “MyOnlineToolbox needed to facilitate seamless B-to-C collaboration while delivering required B-to-B back-end operations functionality. Telerik provided us with a firm foundation for achieving both.”

ServusXchange selected Telerik’s RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX and Telerik Reporting for development of the back-end module for MyOnlineToolbox. The robust, integrated RadControls toolset provides key functionality for the application, including on-the-fly image modifications using the BinaryImage control, color-coded appointment scheduling with the ColorPicker control, validation of user input via the Input control, and module-specific toolbar customization using the Toolbar control. Telerik Reporting is used for generation of key reports and time-sensitive documents, including estimates, schedules, invoices and collections, as well as allowing for in-depth data analysis.

In addition to RadControls and Telerik Reporting, ServusXchange deployed Telerik’s Sitefinity CMS to create the intuitive, feature-rich website dedicated to MyOnlineToolbox. Sitefinity is an ASP.NET-based comprehensive development platform enabling rapid creation and deployment of richly interactive websites. The product’s exceptional architecture, which incorporates Master Pages, templates, standard and user controls, themes and CSS, also allows effortless integration of legacy applications and third-party widgets.

“MyOnlineToolbox is a unique fusion of both B-to-B and B-to-C environments, combining the best of today’s Internet-based social networking site with the power of advanced collaboration and document and contact management software applications,” said Vassil Terziev, CEO, Telerik. “We are pleased to have been able to assist the ServusXchange team in bringing this pioneering application to life.”

MyOnlineToolbox has established itself as a disruptive technology for the home repair and remodeling industry, with thousands of contractors successfully implementing the platform as part of their day-to-day operations. The rapid success of MyOnlineToolbox has also captured the attention of customers and the media alike, and focused the spotlight on ServusXchange. In 2008, the young company received a Dell Top 10 Innovator Award, which was swiftly followed by with a Forbes America’s Most Promising Company Award in 2009.
