Telerik, a leading vendor of UI and data components for ASP.NET, is proud to announce that four of its individual products, as well as the complete suite, RadControls, have been recognized with the 2005 asp.netPRO Readers’ Choice Awards.
For the first time the Telerik RadControls suite made it in the top 3 and was voted "2005 Best Component Set" award (runner-up). "It is a great honor to be voted second after industry-leaders Infragistics", says Vassil Terziev, VP Business Development, Telerik. "The award comes as a support for our efforts to provide ASP.NET developers with a set of high-performing, flexible components that allow them to build rich web-based applications."
The traditionally praised product, Telerik RadEditor, has been recognized again - "Best Online Editor" (runner-up). This is the second big award for the Telerik's high-end WYSIWYG editor, which has also received the prestigious .NET Developer's Journal Readers' Choice Award (runner-up) in 2004.
Being voted an award-winner for two years in a row, Raddesigner left the competitors in the dust with 34% of the votes in the "Best Content Management System" category, compared to the 14% for the product rated second.
RadMenu, the “all-in-one” menu component for ASP.NET, has become a co-winner in the "Best Navigation Control" category. This is a valuable award in an extremely competitive category, which signifies the firm position of the Telerik menu as a market leader that combines innovation with quality and reliability.
Last, but not least comes Telerik RadSpell, selected as the 2005 asp.netPRO Readers’ Choice Award winner (runner-up) in the "Best Utility" category.
